CAD Rendering

Each Louie B design begins with your design vision translated into a CAD (Computer Aided Design) rendering. Our visualization and animation software allows you to “see” your jewelry design from every angle before anything is actually created. Louie B began his CAD education and training at the age of 16 and prides himself on the personalization that CAD allows each customer. Louie B will sit with you one-on-one and discuss your idea and then create a CAD rendering as a roadmap toward your wax model and finished castings. The flexibility of CAD renderings enables you to see alternative shapes and colors to help bring your vision to life.

3D Printing

Louie B Designs is one of the few studios in Downtown Los Angeles to offer 3D printing services. Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, your design wax is “printed” with precision and comes straight from the machine ready for casting and molding. The accuracy achievable is beyond laser or printing alternative technologies and offers a platform for creation that sits perfectly alongside our handcrafted production.

Casting

Once you have approved the wax model of your design, it is then cast into metal. The casting process involves pouring liquid metal alloy into your design mold. Louie B Designs performs all casting in house.

The entire production process is highly controlled from start to finish in our downtown Los Angeles studio.
